PinPin Studio
PinPin STUDIO is a newly started company focusing on design for play situations. We are situated in Gothenburg, Sweden. PinPin STUDIO consists of MFA designers Christian Strömqvist and Karl-Johan Ekeroth who in 2011 graduated from the Child Culture Design master programme, at the School of Design and Crafts at the University of Gothenburg. Right now we are working with clients as Universeum through Realize AB, Inter IKEA Systems BV, Röhsska Muséet and ICEHOTEL. Please drop by our office for a cup of coffee and a chat! Bio Hero Builder
PinPin Studio through Realize AB created an interactive application for children for an exhibition called ”Try the superpowers of nature” at Universeum in Gothenburg. By collecting ”biomimetic superpowers” the user can build it´s own superhero on a touchscreen.

Sapporo Snow Festival
In February 2012 PinPin Studio together with Jens Thoms Ivarsson got the chance to represent Sweden in the 39:th annual International Snow Sculpture Contest at the Snow Festival in Sapporo, Japan. Our sculpture, ”Sweden no Omiyage”, recieved second prize and a silver medal! The sculpture was made in four days, and our intention was to represent Sweden in the form of a big souvenir, a moose in a box. Our goal was to make people smile through Swedish simplicity and humor.
